PerCushion Bluetooth Pillow Disturbs Your Sleep

Remember the times before our mobile digital lifestyle, when communication with a close friend stood for something emotional and touching. It can again with the soft and relaxing perCushion.

Your cell phone notifies the digital cushion wirelessly, via Bluetooth and enables you to pick up the call while relaxing on your sofa. Or imagine how many people use their cell phone as alarm in the morning and have a very unhealthy and unemotional cell phone always in their bedrooms.

The cushion has a Bluetooth connection, a micro and loudspeakers for interaction. You may pick up the call directly at the cushion; a rechargeable battery pack provides the energy.

The perCushion is a development of the design partner of URBAN TOOL Ltd., the Austrian design label LSUNGSMITTEL in co-operation with the German Mobile Research Center of the University Bremen and has been supported by Impulsprogramm of the Creative Industries Vienna and the Centre of Innovation and Technology Vienna. The perCushion is the first working prototype and the serial production is under way, availability is scheduled for 2008.

Details: imensions: 66 x 30 x 13 cm, Material: cotton velvet with foam core. The cushion is connected with your mobile wirelessly via Bluetooth. The integrated fabric interface shows: an activating/standby button, a Bluetooth pairing button, a button for answering calls and indicating LEDs furthermore a microphone and loudspeakers. The lithium ionic battery can be charged with the enclosed charger.
