We take a look at the slim and classy ''Credit Card II,'' with its 2-megapixel camera and leather external battery case. Will it ever make the trip stateside?
At its mobile summit press event Thursday in New York, Samsung showed off its SGH-P310 Card Phone II. The phone updates the styling of the SGH-P300, which resembled an 80s pocket calculator more than a credit card. A tri-band GSM, EDGE-enabled phone, the P310 would be a more remarkable slim phone if Samsung's lineup did not also include the SGH-T519 Trace, which is a hair slimmer, though not as short. The phone sports a 2-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth support for playing MP3s and AAC files, and packs in 80MB of internal memory. The included leather case doubles as an extra, external battery pack. No word on whether we'll see this phone stateside.
