Samsung SYNC aka SGH-A707 Review

The handset scored brownie points for its ergonomics, its price tag, its superb voice quality, the vibrant display and its overall performance. EngadgetMobile listed the Bluetooth Connectivity as the SYNC's Achilles heel as they couldn't pair up a couple of devices with it.

The Samsung SGH-A707 is a HSDPA handset which is exclusively available on the Cingular network. Basting of a smart clamshell design, the handset includes features like; a 2 megapixel camera, a media player, support for MP3, WMA, AAC+, RealAudio and streaming audio. One will also dig the , touch-sensitive external controls and its brilliant QVGA display. A2DP and microSD expansion are some other features found on the SYNC.

The review ends on a positive note and this is what Engadget has to say about the Cingular SYNC ''Our very quick, knee-jerk reaction is that this is a great phone, and for USD50 after rebate, it's pretty tough to go wrong. Depending on the N75's pricing, it could be facing some pretty stiff upmarket competition in the near term -- and the torrent of 3G hardware should be pretty consistent heading into 2007 (we hope). But as we sit here in early November 2006, we can say with some confidence that this is the best bang for your HSDPA buck.''
