Why don't u try DSL (d*mn Small Linux)? Its Only bout 50mb, u can install it on u're pen, stick or flashdisk, then boot it from the usb *

or if you dont mind waiting a couple of weeks for it go here and request a free ubuntu live cd https://shipit.ubuntu.com/ i think mine only took about 3 weeks to come through the post but that was about a year ago i got mine sent out. youll need to register 1st. *
