Pleco fishes are more efficient
whn they're young. I got NO experience with Apple snail. bartz,wht's Ur idea.? U got both.. *

pleco poos alot lol many say they are terrible for fouling up water. apple snails in groups can do a greater cleaning job but also poo a fair bit. corydora catfish are better i think, i got x6 of them they are friendly. south american pleco can be agressive sometimes. but apple snail is the better cleaner overall. *
