As with the new alb*m the movie is to be named the dirt. It is being made jointly between Paramount Classics and MTV Films. Based on the 2001 book The Dirt : Confessions of the Worlds Most Notorious Rock Band charting the rise and fall of the Crue during that period and the ups and downs of the band members on and off stage. All four members and writer of the dirt Neil Strauss are to serve as executive producers. The movie is to be directed by Larry Charles who directed Masked and Anonymous starring Bob Dylan. A release date is still yet to be announced and wether or not the band will play themselves or close lookalikes will get the parts. Watch this space for updates and keep it real. *
