I don't think you got me right. I have several mp3 files from different artists and albums. when i play them as they are some are loud some are soft. but i would like to level the sound playback before i copy them to usb stick for playing in my car. so how do i do this?

what i usually do is to burn an audio cd, then choose to level the resulting disc sound before burn. then rip that cd. but i don't want to have to burn a cd. i can save that cd if i create an audio cd image then rip and delete it when am done with it.

so is there no better method you know of?
