Later, wasn't there a period of civil wars fought by the Sunnis against the 'Shias'?
It's still manifesting to this day.
People think of all the mosques being bombed by fellow Muslims and think it's ridiculous but this is mostly sectarian. Sunnis killing Shias and Shias retaliating.Yes,this is the most ridiculous.Killing each other betwen sunni and shia by provocation sectarian prejudice of 7 century issue.I have some friends from shia and ahmadiya,all they are good and humble.We live in 20 century unity as the same muslim and humanity.
