Subject: why god, why ?

And yet it seems to arise from something as intrisic as human nature, our sense of empathy inflicts pain on us for the wrong doing we commit against someone else, and yet strangely enough, our own mind seems to reward us for the happiness and enrichment we bring to other's lives. This seems to be the case for an overwhelming number of humans, and maybe, just maybe morality is an inevitable construct by humans from such as inherent nature within us?
And as human intelligence grows, morality evolves?
Would it be far fetched to say morality is as inherent in human beings as is our sense of empathy?
