God did say dont eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil to avoid the evil side from showing up and taking its share. Mankind lived in sin and evil since then without listening to God. Slavery is made by man influenced by evil greed. God didnt d*mn the ground under Adams feet just to flick it off right after. Only till everything is destroyed including satan there will be an end to evil.then why he made that tree anyway? your god is making life conflicated while all we need is to treat/respect each other
