Total madnessI remember when I said this was happening in England and I got shot down for being a racist..

I enquired about being a fireman, but the fire officer I knew told me I had no chance, because I was a white male, and they were under intense pressure to recruit blacks, women, etc.
Christ, that was back in Blair's '00s era.

Fiercely denied back then, it's all pushed proudly now, of course.
