Defence was emotive for the most part. They relied on one piece of evidence extensively. But clearly that was enough to lead the jury to guilty verdict.
I'm wondering if the appeal would be different; maybe with all the crowd dying down a little, the court can examine points of law more impartially.People offering to help including people medically trained at the scene and the police telling them not to and how can you expect the crowd to be quiet if they see someone clearly struggling being no threat and being held down for too long?
