for one of the most underground rap groups that has become a force to reckon with, to release an album with a track entitled 'kanye west' making the album. Yes Atmosphere just released an album entitled 'southsiders' this past tuesday/may 6th 2014, track 10 on the album is 'kanye west'. I am so going to give this a miss.
Pharoahe Monch's PTSD is an album to look out for instead. It was released Apr 15th 2014 and was his first album released independently.What a dumb thing to say. You're not going to get Southsiders because there's a track titled 'Kanye West'? Slug did an interview where he explains the title. It's not even about Kanye, in fact the song is about difficulties in courtship and marriage. Atmosphere is fscking fantastic, I can't wait to get the new album. Rhymesayers Entertainment is probably the best underground label I've come across.
