Yeah but it's for playing them on a bigger screen than a phone or gameboy. Older consoles don't work very well on new big screen tellys if at all, when they do the graphics look all stretched and fuzzy. I'm gonna get one just to play Zelda again but I also have fond memories of playing Bubble Bobble and Pac Man.
