hmm, hating Picard so far. episode 8 of 10 and I don't care about or know the story yet. still getting massive exposition dumps at this late stage of the show.

and of course, everything that went before (that is the only reason they get to do this now) is thrown out, contradicted or ignored. from character and personality to institutions, the past apparently has no baring on this present.I dont care....
