Not sure why would his phone use the talk time instead of the data that's loaded irrespective of the time that the data kicks in.... On telkom and vodacom if I don't have data bundles loaded it doesn't use my airtime is your friend on contract or prepaid. ? I know opera browser now also has an app called opera max that would do the trick... You can decide which apps uses backround and foreground data with it. Was thinking of downloading it today
