Another trick is by changing the GPRS settings on your phone. If you have free mms retrieval service, then use mms setting instead of gprs setting on your personal configuration settings. Open a web/page. If it says no server access, reconnect until the page is open. Once you connect successfully, don't stop the connection coz it will make it difficult to reconnect
