Well, spoken to Orange and they say the charge has always been in place. What a load of balls. They give you the option, yet charge you for choosing an option that they obviously dont want you to have. Apparently, they scan the systems regularly to check accounts that are not paying by direct debit, then they slap the charge on. They said, at least you arent having to pay the backdated charges...
