take your 3g phone with virgin sim and if you hav nokia n70 or later or most of newer phones and go to settings then network then network mode then you hav option of gsm or UMTS OR DUAL choose UMTS PHONE WILL RESTART THEN YOU WILL HAV 3G ON VIRGIN
