It could be argued that this is a product of sound bite politics by a government that has doubled the national debt and created a state of austerity. The poor hardest hit sectors of society are then feed the stupid ideology that asylum seekers are responsible for the impoverished social structure. When in fact our goverment is complict with others in raining bombs to perpetuate this condition of total misdirection
