It's sad actually the way people tends to associate swearing with tourettes. One only have to mention the word for some people to immediately thinking of swearing. At primary school we had this teacher that had this rapid blinking eye habit. It's only many many years thereafter that I realised that he may had tourettes. Maybe swearing is more noticeable than any other tic, maybe that's why people notice it more, let them then associate swearing with tourettes. Almost like a kind of stereotyping.That's a lot of supposition
