After upgrading it gave me a key, then I did the reset that completely deleted all c drive so had to use a friend's computer to make a bootable usb with windows 10 and then reinstall it and then after connected to Internet it found out I had registered with Windows 10 so was activated again so don't need to a type in a key again. computer then just had to restore the files from file history.
Everything is working correctly now though as well as tablet mode and it boots up no problem
