it means ur panel encountered error. If u choose DELETE, then it'll be removed and u'll have to create a new panel again (don't worry, the process is as easy as 1 2 3), otherwise it won't. But since ur using demo (which i'm assuming a bootable media), ur choice won't be saved - meaning next time u boot, ur panel still be there. To go back to windows, press ctrl-alt-del and choose reboot in the popup window. If u wanna learn linux, why don't try sumfing more challenging like arch linux
