thanx newt :-) I'm nt sure if it is a BIOS error bt whenever I boot the system normally (tried with several HD) it only boots to a certain point and then gives the error message NT Loader missing...! if I then try to run recovery console,it only installs to a certain point (loading windows) and then gives a trap error? So all indications are that NT Loader is missing from BIOS? or am I incorrect? what else could it be?
