mega upload was shut down because the feds have enough evidence to prove that the owners were paying for servers and wages of illegal uploaders, not your regular everyday uploaders but a in house team that were uploading terra bytes of material each week and whom were getting paid by megaupload management and when any links were ordered to be taken down and removed from the servers under the dmca rules they just took down the 1 link not all the mirror links and never deleted the actual files
