it all depends how far you are away from the exchange. i was on the fastest profile at my distance was about 7 MB but to improve stabillity it dropped to 6MB. they throttle the bandwidth at certain times too. but the speed and connection i have now suits me fine. the router is a bit cak but if you change the wireless settings to channel 11 it helps a lot for your wireless connections (wii, psp, laptop etc)
