not exactly, it can run 1 java app and any other phone function, but u have to leave the other function if u wana return to the open java app, also if u have an open java app like m.x.i.t u cant open another one like opera mini. Its kinda cr*p, but atleast u can read or send sms or make call while on m.x.i.t
