Far worse than that. 3-key an N8 or, as in my case, a 701, and it takes out maps, Quickoffice, pdf, other bits and bobs. You can't reinstall any of these or Nokia Store, so you have to reinstall the whole OS. Exactly what I've had to send my phone off for amongst other things.
