The yahoo gateway on M.X.i.T. Doesnt work.The msn nd others work though. They've accepted it as a problem themselves nd r workin on it for the next version.And no,its not just for s.africa,it works everywhere. Bluepulse has the only workin y!messenger i know of,but it seems the yahoo on that doesn't work at times. It works for me most of the time though.
