Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. [3 John 1:2]

I think there's nothing wrong for a Bible believing Christian to be prosperous for the glory of God who is our provider, be it in education, finnances, marriage or any other endeavour in this life. The problem comes when we forget God when we have prospered.

Its unfounfortunate for the preachers who are using the name of God to gain wealth at the expense of the faithful.
