Genesis 19 The sun had risen over the land about the time Lot reached Zoar. Then the Lord rained sulfur and fire out of the sky from the Lord on Sodom and Gomorrah, overthrowing those cities, all of the plain, and everyone who lived in the cities. He also destroyed the plants that grew out of the ground. But Lots wife looked back as she lingered behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. A pillar of salt really mean cruel and just petty.That was exactly what happened, she became a pillar of salt, nothing more nothing less. Because the pple were doing all forms of evil in the sight of The Lord and he decided to punish them. And our God is a God of mercy that's why he told Abraham in Genesis 18:32 that if found ten righteous pple in there he will not destroy them.
