I'm American and believe me a lot of Americans are not fooled by Bush's actions about Iraq..what the public was told was the reason we were going in had nothing whatsoever to do with the real reasons. It was all about the oil..Iraq had no part in 9/11..our friends the Syrians were the terrorists.
