Even in the impossible case of the hebrew netzer having a connection to the greek nazaret, Jesus living in nazareth does not fulfill his being the netzer. Mathew does not claim that Jesus IS the nazareth but that his city of dwelling is called nazareth. Living in nazareth therefore has nothing to do with what the prophets said. Mathew quotes a spurious prophecy and has Jesus fulfill it, to prove he's messiah.
