Notice something about the branch (netzer). The prophets say the messiah himself IS the branch. They don't say he will live in a town called the branch (netzer). Now read Mathew 2:23 ''And he came and dwelt in a city called nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.''
