Back in the 1990s when there were only two genders a mate didn't drink beer, only cocktails, so I called him a metrosexual. His response was to buy me a Flaming Lamborghini.

I've never been so ill. I drank it through a plastic straw whilst it was on fire, got poisoned in more ways than one, and though I survived the carbon monoxide poisoning I ended up with an infection in my lungs which saw me off work for two weeks.

Having already had alcohol poisoning from Southern Comfort, I decided never to venture into spirits again.
