When I was 12, my mother had a brain aneurysm that ruptured and left her severely disabled. My legal guardians were abusive and convinced me that it was my fault. The mother I knew was gone forever, due to the brain damage. I recall believing that I killed her. She wasn't even dead, just different. People can be tricked into believing ridiculous things.That was meant to be in reply to chelljean84.
