I'm sure more would've voted for them had they actually been on the ballot paper. No box, no cross. Quite a simple philosophy, really.

Their faliure to stand in many areas reflects the general feeling that their work is done. They were a success.3 seats won out of a total of 550 contested. Looks like they got a kicking. Contesting 550 seats implies they wanted to do much better than they did.
