the best advice i can give you hug is forget internet dating sites. think of some hobby or activity you like doing, check at your local library. they have notice boards with details of loads of clubs and societies you can join... join one and go along and make friends, extend your social circle. but don't expect things to happen quickly, relationships take time to build, unless you're lucky. and in my own experience, most of my better relationships have come 'out of the blue', not when i was looking for one...
