@A1200 owner.. you will need a PC to change the stock fw .. and only for that .. for the rest of the apps is only the phone itself. And when you get bored of this Linux.. you can install Android OS .. aka Google OS found now on HTC G1 etc. But I see that still you don't find use for the phone so .. whatever.
