use the hardware hard reset. if you go to xda-developers and look in the prophet section for help. they will know best. and dont listen to dadoggle. he always spouts s**t and gives the wrong advice. taking out the battery then installing an os is uterly useless unless you have a sony ericsson. the tw*t probably doesnt even own a pda or htc device.
