I had an idea back in the 90s to put a small monitor on remote controls so you could preview a channel before switching. But after doing some research I found out that technology hasn't advanced enough to do that. So I never bothered to try to file a patent because there was not really a cheap way to make a working prototype.

A few years ago someone at Samsung had the same idea and they tried to market it, it was a total failure. I guess I got lucky. (lol)
