Going to stay with it. Gen 4 won't damage it just operate at gen 3 speeds. I thought it would damage it.Nah it will just run at the slower speeds which is still insanely fast and having gen had gen 3 ,4 and 5 drives in my desktop the difference in day to day use unless doing massive file transfers is negligible
