Speaking from experience, it can be scary leaving someone even when you are unhappy. Thinking of the few good times you have together and hoping it gets better, and the thought of failure sucks. Hanging on to hope can be torture. If you walk away and give it some time, you will likely discover how happy you can be and look back with no regrets. You arent failing by leaving. You are failing by staying.
