Id say people like usually have insecurity issues. They need to to belong n loved. They get involved with people who usually treat them like dirt. The relationship becomes a toxic addiction.like a woman married to an alkie. He uses n abuses her. She crys wolf to her friends n family. Because they care n can see the truth they offer help n advice.the woman returns to the situation.
