its very tricky getting the ps3 to connect to any wireless connection without the use of a proper wifi modem(joikuspot nd wlan adapters do not count as modems)... ur best chance of getting it to work is via a LAN cable connected to ur internet enabled pc, I personally don't like cables lying around but it does work...
