Subject: How big is too big for a smartphone?

..was thinking about getting me some Fold model (Samsung or Huawei), but am a bit sceptical 'cause of that folding..is it strong enough not to crack after a few openings- closing?..is opened display really in one piece, flat and smooth not showing that it's composed practically in two parts?..may get one for a trial..
