it turns out that even the snapdragon versions of the S7 and S7 edge have and very secure locked bootloader. there endeth my interest in the device.The exynos/international version is supposed to be able to accept custom roms tho.. obviously, there needs to be devs who work on the chip sets.. whether there will be enough is yet to be seen.. but it's only the American version that is completely locked..
personally, I can't see any point to custom roms on this.. previous phones, I've been left wanting more, and found it through the mod scene.. I really can't see any major improvements being made to this tho..
