Impossible to know at the moment. If it does a scan for the loader then you wont be able to upgrade for free. iirc the loader that is created is somewhat unique, every system has a different .exe, making it harder to detect. It would be quite hard to single out, accurately, PC's with software licensing information written to the BIOS and then compare it to motherboards that shipped from OEM's with SLIC. So BIOS mod with SLIC = Windows seeing your PC as having a genuine license. There will be much more info at release, stuff that can't be discussed here though. * +
