on the paper....... If u want a portion of the picture to be printed, use the SELECT tool of paint and click the CROP button..... While all these been said, there are many other methods to do so.... * +

If this doesn't solve your problem, then explain your actual problem with the picture size while printing, i.e. a bit more specific details of what you want to do with the output..... * +

thanks for all your help but I'm still not getting anywhere I'm doing all you day Jupiter but I don't want to crop the image I just want to alter it to the size I am wanting, and in another program I have its asking for size in pixels instead of inches etc, why are things so complicated these days or maybe its just that I'm getting old lol * +

right click the photo, move to ''open with'' then select ''windows photo viewer'' select ''print'' then your paper type and size. in the righthand pane there will be options for different layouts ie. 10x15cm, 9x13cm wallet etc etc * +
