I have 16GB RAM and have set the page file to 1024MB * +

paging file is located at C:/pagefile.sys as system hidden file. showing hidden files alone won't show the system hidden files and if you show system files, you should be carefull with them. there is usualy no reason to delete pagefile.sys manualy. as i said some programs may insist on paging file, why would a program with a 16GB of ram availible need a paging file, i really don't know, but for those programs, setting something small enough would satisfy them. minidumps too if you need them *
